The Back to School Edit

The Back to School Edit

September (other than January) is the other month in the year than has a sort of “new beginnings” significance. Wether your new beginning is marked by going back to school or uni, back to work from a long and lustrous summer holiday or just to mark a change in the season, I never fail to get excited for Septembers clean slate.

I have edited a chic and studious little ensemble above which shows an autumnal palette of navy, grey, black and oxblood red. Light camel boots are a nice trans-seasonal choice and the fun cat print socks and chic Givenchy/Bambi iPad case add a playful touch to this look.

I am on the hunt for new glasses and I love these by Illesteva with their matte black frame and slightly rounded shape. Pack your accessories off into this chic Cambridge Satchel backpack which has a distinct 60’s vibe to it, which is on-trend for AW14.

A leather jacket is perfect for layering over a cropped but warm funnel neck jumper and will take you through until it’s coat weather.

The Weekend Edit: Net-a-Porter PF14 Picks

PF14 Weekend Look
It’s a double post today folks! What a wet Bank Holiday Monday today has been but I won’t let the weather stop me from venturing out of the house. My weekend look is a perfect pre-fall edit.
Relax in Acne’s salmon pink jumper and Frame destroyed denim jeans. Isabel Marant’s wool, tweed blazer makes for a cosy yet chic coverup. To toughen up the look I added Alexander Wang’s Prism shoulder bag with rose gold accents and Irene point toe flats with a Maison Michel black, felt fedora.
Finish the look with Illesteva sunglasses and a comfortable swipe of Elizabeth Ardent’s lip protectant stick with a juicy hint of dark berry pigment.Weekend away!BLOG SIG
