Accessories Haul: February

So I have a little list of lust here; a few cheeky purchases that I’d like to share with you all. Accessories are a great way to update a wardrobe especially if, like me, you enjoy a muted, minimalist wardrobe which focuses more on tailoring and textures rather than colour and pattern. Have you been throwing mini strops in front of your closet because you have nothing to wear and you just want to chuck everything out and start again? A new haul of accessories may be just the remedy.

This season comfort has become something aspirational rather than a dirty word that style stalkers should avoid. Enter “Sk8er Gurl” chic; adopted by the likes of Celine, Jimmy Choo and Vince all the in shape of a slip-on trainer. These designer offerings come with a hefty price tag so if you are looking for a high-street alternative there are some great ones out there! Let’s be honest sneakers are made for getting down and dirty in, so save your pounds and fork out on a couple of pairs of high street alternatives because they are just as stunning! I got my sk8er slip-ons from Topshop in a black mock-croc finish for £20. Barrrrrjan!

I love a good hat, especially the classic shape of a fedora. I lusted after this Clean Edge Fedora, in a pinky nude with a thin black band from Topshop, £25. I think the colour is really lovely and unique. You will usually find fedoras in the classic colours (black & tan) with a few exceptions made for berry reds and dark greens so I thought this one was special and perfect for spring.

Next on my lust list was this Zara, white, slogan  “Stressed, but well dressed”, a steal at £19.99. This is will be on every bloggers wish list. It has a lovely clean look, is a great size, perfect for wallet, makeup and iPad and more. It isn’t on their website yet but I am told it will be soon so keeps your eyes peeled because it’s already selling out in store!

Accessorizing with silver jewelry seems so fresh right now. These two pieces looks great together and if you fancy making even more of an arm candy statement, wrap the double chain necklace a few times around your wrist and BLING! This beautiful Karl Lagerfeld watch is the 7′ Faceted Bezel Bracelet Watch, with a 44mm face, £209 at House of Fraser. That’s the largest one they do, it’s pretty heavy but the facets makes it so shiny and eye catching. It is oversized proportions makes it hang off my wrist slightly and it feels like a mens timepiece but I have always liked that look after I saw Mary-Kate Olsen doing this years ago with her Rolex. If you fancy a more delicate style they do come in smaller sizes. Selfridges do a gorgeous gold version which you can find here.
